In accordance with your application dated January 9,1981, and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Special Nuclear Material License No. SNM-1227 is hereby amended to authorize calcining up to 4.5 kilograms of plutonium oxide as described.
Shipment of the calcined oxide is not authorized until the Safeguards Division has approved the arrange-ments for sampling and assaying the shipment. This amendment shall terminate February 1, 1981.
All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.
