Thank you for your letter of August 13, 1980 infor.ning us of the steps you have taken to correct the items wnich we brought to your attention in our letter dated July 11, 1980. !iowever, we find that we require further information on the following two items.
1.
Resconse to Ibam A of Notice of Violation The resconsa indicatas that a iiigh percentage (i.e., 3 of 5) of pipe suoports caached by Surveillanca Report #848 had loose or missing U-bolts, but does not identify any action to increase the sample size to estaolish or refute a basis for generic concern.
2.
Resoonse to Fiadiaqs Recardino Ineffective Corrective Actions The resconce ganerally verifies the long time differential existing between the irtentification of a problem situation and the resolution of that problem. The response, however, does not address any future actions to be taken by the Sucply System to assure that effective and timely corrective actions will be taken and/or verified.
This infor ation should be submitted to this office within twenty (20) days of the date of this letter.
