Dear Ms. Cameron:
The Nuclear Regulatory Conmission has published a report (NUREG-0725),
showing NRC-approved routes for the shipment of spent nuclear reactor fuel. A copy of the report is enclosed, together with the NRC's Announcement No.80-191.
With respect to your letter dated August 6,1980, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Infonnation Act, a list of all commercial and military spent fuel routes in Indiana, we prepared the enclosed Appendix A, " Summary of Route Information." This list summarizes the routes you requested and was compiled from individual documents containing detailed information. This route information was released as page A-10, INDIANA, contained in NUREG-0725.
This route is the only approved commercial spent fuel route through the State of Indiana.
The NRC does not have any information on military spent fuel routes through the State of Indiana.
This completes action on your request.
