Dear Mr. Abel:
By letter dated March 23, 1980, the Commonwealth Edison Company provided their response to several items in the Confirmatory Order of February 29, 1980. Among these items were responses to B.7 and B.8 on reactor operator qualifications. We have completed our review of the responses to B.7 and B.8 and find them acceptable. Of the remaining items responded to in the March 28, 1980 letter, only item B.2 on centrol room habitability is out-standing. This item is associated with our letter dated May 7,1980 to all operating facilities detailing additional items to the Near-Term Operating License requirements for the TMI Action Plan. The Commonwealth Edison Company (CECO) has respor.ded to our May 7,198C letter by letter dated July 25, 1980. The request in that letter by CECO to delay starting the studies on control room habitability is still under review.
