Arkansas Nuclear One - Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-313 and 50-368 License Nos. DPR-51 and NPF-6 Proposed Technical Specifications (TS)

Concerning Decay Heat Removal Capability (File: 1510, 1511.1, 2-1510, 2-1511.1)

Gentlemen:

In accordance ' ' i your letter of June 11, 1980, attached are proposed TS changes. These proposed TS will meet the intent of the model TS, in that redundancy in decay heat removal capability will be provided.

Because AN0-1 ' utilizes TS which are not in the standardized format, wording of the proposed TS is quite different. We feel, however, that our proposed TS meet the intent of the model TS.

Many of the model TS are already in place for AN0-2 because Standardized TS are utilized. Therefore, only those proposed TS which change existing AN0-2 TS are submitted herein.

AP&L has determined this to be a Class III amendment because it involves a single issue. Accordingly, a check in the amount of $4,400 is attached as remittance for both ANO-1 and ANO-2.
