This is in reply to your letter dated October 25, 1980, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, a copy of the specifics and map of routes for the transportation of spent nuclear fuel as noted in The New York Times article of Oct'ober 25, 1980.

In responsa to your request, a copy of the NRC's report NUREG-0725 showing NRC-approved routes for the shipment of spent nuclear reactor fuel is enclosed. Also enclosed is a copy of the NRC's Announcement No.80-191.
