During the course of the referenced inspeccion conducted on Augt$st 26 to August 29, 1980, one infraction was noted as described below:

IJNFRACTION, As required by License Condition No. 9 authorizing use in accordance with the statements, representations and conditions contained in Section V, " Conditions" of the licensee's application; and subsection 7.4.3.1 " Area Moderation Contr31" that states " Service water piping entering the pelletizing area shall be baffled or enclosed---so ar to prec?.ude spraying in the event of a joint or line rupture."

Contraty to the above,;on August 26, 1980, one section

of sheet metal baffle was not in place over service water piping in the pelletizing area.

RESPONSE

As noted in the body of the inspection report, area'

Continued -

addressed the need to maintain the integrity of water baffling.

Documentation of training. content and per-sonnel in attendance will.be available for future inspection. -Evaluations of further potential actions such as positive identification of mandatory water baffles are continuing.

Full compliance has been achieved as of the date of this letter.

No material of a proprietary nature is discussed in the report.
