'0URTH INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency una initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector M. Thomas on April 7,1980, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e). Interim reports were submitted on May 7, July 7, and September 12, 1980. We expect to submit our next report by December 11, 1980. The following inferma-tien revises our third interim report uhich contained some erroneous informaticn.

The steam generator pressure transmitters (total of six) will be replaced with transmitters which have been qualified for operation in the expected environment. The pressure switches for flow to auxiliary feed pump turbine will be repaired to upgrade the qualificaticn to meet the expected environ-ment. The level solenoid valves for flow to steam generators 1 and 4 from the turbine-driven auxiliary feedwater pump (total of two) will be replaced with qualified solenoid valves. TVA's evaluatien of other instruments in the valve room is still ongoing.
