A review of the physical protection requirements for the special nuclear material (SNM) associated with the Manhattan College Zero Power Reactor has been conducted. As a result of the review, there is an indication that Manhattan College may be in noncompliance with 10 CFR 73.67 requirenents, in that no physical security plan has been received by the NRC.
In order to accurately assess your compliance with this regulation, we request that.you provide us by October 29,1980, the following information:
a.
The total amount and enrichment of SNM currently possessed at the facility.
b.
The amount arid enrichment of SMM required and presently in the core.
c.
The amount and enrictinent of irradiated SNM in storage.
d.
The amount and enriclinent of non-irradiated SNM in storage.
e.
The amount and enrichment of SNM exempt pursuant to 10 CFR 73.67(b)(1).
