In response to our letter dated March 12, 1980, you provided by letter dated May 28, 1980 information related to the containment purge system.
We have identified the enclosed additional information as being required so that we can co.nplete our evaluation of the electrical / bypass ar.pects of engineered safety features and control systems. The review of other aspects of the containment purge issue are proceeding separately.
Please provide this information as soon as possible so that our review can proceed. On October 6,1980 we discussed the need for this infor-mation by telephone with representatives of Vermont Yankee, and we under-stand that efforts are underway to determine how soon it can be provided.
Please provide your schedule for providing this information within ten days of receipt of this letter.
