As attorneys for Exxon Nuclear Company (" Exxon"), we hereby request the following agency records pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act:

All documents, whether or not prepared by or for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which consti-tute, reference, discuss, evaluate or in any way relate to the evaluation or adequacy of Exxon's Critical Heat Flux Correlation data submitted to the Commission with respect to the Oyster Creek Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1, of Jersey Central Power & Light Company _in Docket No. 50-219.

In particular, and without in any way limiting the scope of this request, attention should be paid to the following specific documents:

Idaho Nuclear Company or INEL of the Exxon Critical Heat Flux Correlation for Oyster Creek; Analyses by the General Electric Company of the Exxon Critical Heat Flux Correlation for Oyster Creek; Any critical heat flux correlation data utilized or developed by the General Electric Company in connecton with the Oyster Creek facility, including but not limited to a document entitled General Electric Thermal Analysis Basis--Data, Correlation and Design Application, NEDE 10958, Supp.-1; Analyses by any other contractors or consultants to the Commission, a licensee or a supplier of nuclear fuel regarding the Exxon -Critical Heat Flux Correlation ,

for Oyster Creek; and Analyses of any of the foregoing.

We are willing to pay the reasonable costs of search and reproduction for the requested agency-records.

If these costs are estimated to exceed $2,000, please telephone me. This request is confined, at this time, to documents from the period 1973-1976 inclusive.

I might note that time is of the essence in this case, and ask that it be afforded priority disposition.
