This is in response to your letter of October 7, 1974 relating to the Anticipated Transients Without Scram (ATWS) analysis for the Dresden and Quad Cities Nuclear Power Stations.

We require further information prior to the approval of a dcIny in the submittal date for the remaining information to April 1975 for the Dresden Units 2 and 3 and Quad Cities Units 1 and 2 and to April 1976 for Dresden Unit 1.

In this regard, please submit 'an explanation for the delay, and provide a schedule of the detailed plan for completing the analyses (vendor program) and your review.
