CONFIRMATION OF COM ITMENT TO STAFF'S OCTOBER 23, 1979 INTERIM POSITION ON CONTAINMENT PURGING AND VENTING We have completed our review of your submittals for your facility which provided your commitments to our October 23, 1979 " Interim Position on Containment Purging and Venting Pending Resolution of Isolation Valve Operability." We find your comitments to the Interim Position acceptable and are to remain in effect pending completion of our long-term review.
l You may receive additional staff guidance or questions as our long-term review continues. At the conclusion of our long-term review, we will provide you with our Safety Evaluation and request Technical Specification changes if required.
A response to this confirmatory letter is not required.
