RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN 80-20
Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
In response to your letter of July 31, 1980, transmitting IE Bulletin 80-20, Carolina Power & Light Company submits the following response for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant.
A thorough review has determined that Westinghouse Type W-2 spring-return-to-neutral control switches are not used in safety-related applications at BSEP.
The manpower expended for this review and for the required report preparation was approximately nine manhours.
We trust that this satisfies the request of IE Bulletin 80-20.
Very truly yours,
. J. Furr Vice President Nuclear Operations RMP/bd cc:
Mr. N. C. Moseley
