Dear Mr. Denton:
In regard to the subject letter, a meeting was held on August 27, 1980 with Mr. R. P. Snaider of the NRC Staff.
Mr. Snaider advised license applicants that no further' action was required on NUREG-0577 or the subject letter at this time. Therefore, pending additional guidance from'the NRC, Duke Power Company will not respond'to Mr. Eisenhut's May 20, 1980 letter on this subject.
