Subject:

Interim Criteria for Shift Staffing As requested, we have exarrined our current staffing practices r..:d capabilities in light of the interim criteria for shift staffing as described in Reference (b).

We currently comply with the requirements of the shif t staffing criteria described in Reference (b) with the exception of item (c), which does not apply to single unit plants, and item (b) which requires a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) to be in the Control Room at all times. We have revised our license program schedule in order to ensure that all requirements of Reference (b) will be met by July 1, 1982.

We trust that this information is satisfactory. However, if you have any questions please contact us.
