NRR OFFICE LETTER NO. 26 - DELEGATION OF SIGNATURE AUTHORITY, REVISION 4 The enclosed list supersedes and replaces Revision 3 of this NRR Office Letter, dated Septemiser 5,1980. The changes are as follows:

(1) Assistant Director or Program Director signature now is required for safety evaluations, environmental statements and inputs to same for all licensing actions (item 2).

(2) A new item 7 is added addressing testimony and other hearing-related material.

(3) Signature authority for review branch questions submitted to 00L may be redelegated to Branch Chiefs (footnote 3 to item 9) at thejlis-cretion of the Division Director.

(4) Signature authority for routine operator licensing correspondence regarding applications, requests for infonnation, scheduling, denial letters and related matters is delegated to the Chief, OLP, (new item 11).
