V NOTICE OF ISSUANCE 9F AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATIhi J CENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 50 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-1, issued to' Portland General Electric Company, the City of Eugene, Oregon, and Pacific Power and Light Company (the li.censees), which revised Technical Specifications for operation of Trojan Nuclear Plant (the f acility) located in Columbia ' County,' Oregon.
The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.

fire protection by the addition of operability and surveillance require-ments for new equipment added pursuant to the Trojan fire protection review

The amendment also contains miscellaneous changes pertaining to ' fire protection.
The-is'suance of this amendment and related supplement to the ' Fire Protection Sa fety Evaluation Report completes the NRC's fire protection review for tne Trojan facility.
The amendment also corrects a drafting error en F.igure. 3.1-1 of the Technical Soecifications.
The applications ~ for-the amendment comply with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulatior.s.

Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since this amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
r The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendm will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pur-suant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
