- DISCRETIONARY ENFORCEMENT RELATING TO THE STATION BATTERIES This letter'is'in response to-your verbal request that the-NRC exercise-discretionary enforcement regarding operation of-Unit 1_while 2 of 4 station
- batteries were declared! inoperable.
- We have reviewed.the basis for your request noting that battery D106.would be operable in less than 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />. and battery 005 would also be declared operable -
- r when new breakers;with thermal / magnetic trip elements would be installed-in.
- the system. Two batteries-being inoperable required the. unit to be in hot

'24-hours was granted-to return the batteries to an-operable condition. This
