In response to the reouest contained in LP&L's November 10, 1989, letter. I am providing Louisiana Power & Light Company (LP&L) a copy of the Report of l
Investigation from investigation Case No. 4-89-002. The release of this report has been authorized by NRC's Office of Investigations (01). However, in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790 regarding the exemption of certain types of information from public disclosure, we have deleted the names of all individuals with the exception of MRC personnel and,the individual whose actions and statements'were the subject of this investigation. We trust that this report will provide sufficient information to respond fully to NRC's concerns about this matter.
i Our original letter dated November 2, 1989, asked LP&L to contact NRC within 20-days to arrange for an enforcement conference.
In recognition of your request for this additional information and the time spent fulfilling that request, please contact us if you believe that additional time in preparing for the enforcement conference is necessary.
