APPLICATION AMENDMENT S-19, EEEMPTION REQUEST FROM AUDITING DOE CONTRACTOR 3R NATIONAL LABORATORIES With reference to activities authorized by SNM-1097 at the GE fuel fabrication plant in Wilmington, N. C., General Electric Company hereby requests authorization to exclude the review and audit required by 10 CFR 70.57(b)(3) of vendors performing material control and accounting measurement services, for the case of national laboratories or Department of Energy ccetractor laboratories who certify standards and resolve shipper / receiver differences.
Details related to this request are contained in the attachment to this letter.
General Electric requests that the attachment to this letter be with-held from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d), since it contains information that identifies General Electric procedures for safeguarding licensed special nuclear material.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 170.31, enclosed is a General Electric check for
$150 for processing this amendment request.
