On August 29, 1980, the Omaha Public Power District received Amendment No. 51 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station Unit No.1.

This amendment was to become effective as of the date on'which the NPDES Permit covering this same subject became effective. This is to inform you that the NPDES Permit was approved by the Nebraska Department of Environmental Control on August 28, 1980.

Therefore, Amendment No. 51 became effective on August 28, 1980.
