- 3) Serial Hove-73-80; dated April 11, 1980 This letter, as were the referenced letters, is an interi 50.55(e) report regarding safe shutdown capability assuming a =ost restrictive core con-dition and the control rod of highest worth stuck out of the core.
The design criteria and the system details have been reviewed and agreed upon by CPCo, Bechtel and B&W.
Engineering and procure =ent activities to date are listed below:
1.
The syste= su==ary description has been reviewed and co==ented on by CPCo and B&W 2.
Bechtel has issued P&ID Drawing M-782, which is currently being re-viewed by CPCo and B&W 3.
An order for two (2) 2300 gallon ASME Section III Class 2 Boric Acid Tanks (with redundant heaters) has been placed with Richard Engineering Co=pany (RECO) 4.
An order has been placed for two (2) ASME Section III Class 2 pu=ps for recirculation of the e=ergency boration tank contents.
Syste= turnover to CPCo is presently scheduled for Nove=ber 1982.
