Enclosed is. IE Information Notice No. 80-24, " Low-level Radioactive Waste Burial Criteria." If you generate low-level radioactive waste which is to be disposed of by eventual burial at one of the three commercial burial facilities in the States of Nevada, South Carolina, or Washington, you should review and abide by the criteria for low-level radioactive waste form as established by each burial site.
If you desire additional infonnation regarding this matter, please contact the Director cf the appropriate NRC Regional Office as specified in Appendix D,10 CFR Part 20.
