capaci:y.

Ooerating Sun =ar-The following is a chronological descriptien of plant operations including other partinen items of interest for the sench:

2 7/1/30-At the beginning of the reporting period the plant was operating at 99% of rated therr.a1 power.

7/4/80-At 0000 hrs. a power reduction was initiated for a control rod pa::ern adjustment.

7/10/80- At 1516 hrs. a power reduction was initiated in preparation for a drywell entry to inv.astigate leakage.

7/10/80- At 1551 hrs. a power increase was initiated.

7/12/30- At 0800 hrs. a plant shutdown was initiated to repair valve leakage and perform testing to verify the operation of the Control Rod Drive System. The turbine generatar was off the grid a: 1125 hrs.

7/13/30- At 1321 hrs. a start.up was initiated.

The turbine generator was phased onto the grid a: 1736 hrs.

7/18/80- At 2212 hrs. a power redue:1on was initiated for a control rod pat:ern adjustment.

7/30/80- At 0320 hrs, a power reduction was initisted due to the loss of the main transformer cooling system. At 0440 hrs. a power increase was initia:ed.

7/31/80- Ac the end of the repor:ing period the plant was operating at 96% of rated ther=al power.
