Dear Mr. Denton:
The North Anna Power Station Procedure for sampling the service water pump house drain system for turbidity and suspended solids (1-PT-75.6.1) has been changed.
This letter serves as notification pursuant to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board Decision, ALAB-578.
The change to the periodic test was to visually inspect each of the six sampics.
If a sample appears cloudy, it will be tested individually.
If any turbidity is detected, an engineering study will be performed to determine the cause.
