OPERATIONS NARRATIVE

July 1980 Reactor was shutdown on July 26, 1980 with a manual scram to test the I

scram discharge volume and associated scram system per NRC Bulletin No.

80-17. The reactor was brought to criticality and to normal operating temperature and pressure and a second test scram was made per the NRC Bulletin No. 80-17. After a short maintenance outage, the reactor was returned to operation on July 27, 1980 and the generator brought on line on July 28, 198,0.

The plant operated the remainder of July with no unscheduled or scheduled power reductions.
