In a letter dated May 21. 1980, your company withdrew the application dated May 9,1980, relating to a change in the Technical Specifications for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant Units 1, 2, and 3 to clarify the calibration procedures of the containment atmosphere monitoring system hydrogen sensors.
Based on infonration provided by the NRR staff, it is our understanding that review of the application was started before it was withdrawn. On this basis and consistent with the requirements of 10 CFR 170.12(a), the Class II and two Class I amendment fees are being retained by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory 1
Commission.
