SUBJECT:
FINDINGS RELATED TO THE PROPOSED IMPORT OF LOW-ENRICHED URANIUM BY TRANSNUCLEAR - ISNM80005 Transnuclear, Incorporated submitted an application dated July 7,1980 for a license authorizing the import of 40,000 kilograms of uranium, as UF, enriched 6
to 1.0".. The shipment will consist of five 48Y cylinders from Comurhex in France to Oak Ridge Tennessee.
This request is essentially the same as previous requests to import low-enriched UF, for example,ISNM780017, and represents no material change in circumstances 6
from conditions and findings which existed at the time of the earlier imports.
Consequently, it is recomended that this license be issued.
