Crouse Vice President, Nuclear Edison Plaza 300 Madison Avenue Toledo, Ohio 43652 Gentlemer-We have received a copy of your application dated March 4,1980, which your Company filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review.
The application renuested a modification to License Condition 2.C(3)(r) of License No. NPF-3 relating to seismic reevaluation for the Davis Besse Unit No. 1.
Your application wat accompanied by a Class II amendment fee of $1,200.
Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as a result of a preliminary review of the above application, it has been determined that this application (which will also include the review as required by the above license condition of the seismic reanalysis submitted on July 9,1979) involves a single safety issue.
Therefore, a Class III fee is applicable.
It is requested that your Company remit an additional sum of $2,800 to this office.
If in the final review of your application by the ONRR staff it is determined that this fee is incorrect, an adjustment will be made.
