Dear Doctor Snyder:

Enclosed is a copy of a letter dated March 5, 1980 to Mr. Collins which summarizes some suggestions for measurements related to the TMI venting. I have discussed this matter previously with Mr. Collins on the phone in order to evaluate possible interest and/or funding by the NRC.

I would very much appreciate a reply.

I still believe that the Radiological Sciences Laboratory's docu-mented sensitive measuring capabilities could produce valuable informa-tion regarding t.he two topics mentioned in the March 5 letter.

Sincerely yours, (lr71 WkQ.
