Thank you for your offer to provide environmental radiation monitoring services
- during the decontamination of the Three Mile Island Unit 2 Reactor Building. As you know,.the purging of the building atmosphere was completed on July 11, 1980.
Section 8 of the " Final Environmental Assessment for Decontamination of the Three Mile Island Unit 2 Reactor Building Atmosphere" discusses the radiological evironmental monitoring program which provided adequate coverage. A more complete description is given 'in the EPA report, "Long-Tem Environmental Radiation Surveillance Plan for Three Mile Island," March 17, 1980. Both documents'are enclosed for your information.
