SUBJECT:
FINDINGS RELATED TO THE PROPOSED IMPORT OF LOW-ENRICHED URANIUM BY TRANSNUCLEAR - ISNM80006 Transnuclear, Incorporated submitted an application dated July 7,1980 for a license authorizing the import of 14,000 kilograms of ura.nium, as UF '
6 enriched to 1.0%. The shipment will consist of two 48Y cylinders from Comurhex in France to Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
This request is essentially the same as previous requests to import low-enriched UF circumstanchs, for example, ISNM780017, and represents no material change in from conditions and findings which existed at the time of the earlier imports. Consequently, it is recommended that this license be issued.
