I must apoogize for the delay in returning the information requested of you concerning U S Air
, flight 170 on January 24, 1980.
This is in response te our previous phone conversation and your sub-sequent letter of April 29, 1980.
Referring to lines 11 & 12 of page 600 en the hearing transcriot you included with you letter.
I can assure you regardless of Dr. Johnsrude's asserticn.
I did not receive an inquiry from her or any other deplaning cassengers about flying over TMI on the above trip in question.
Also, I did not operate flight #170 on this date directly over the nuclear facility on Three Mile Island 4
I hope this lays to rest any problems your staff has with this flight.
