Further to my letter of May 30, 1980, enclosed is a copy of a letter dated June 1,1980, from Captain Robert Hayhurst, pilot of U.S. Air Flight No.170 on January 24, 1980, regarding which Intervenors' witness, Dr. Johnsrud, testified.
The Staff believes that the substance of Captains Hayhurst's and Dryer's letters is consistent with the record developed in this proceeding and with the Staff's post hearing memorandum. Accordingly, we do not believe that any fomal evidentiary consideration need be given either of these letters.
