this proceeding on March 24, 1977. His testimony and qualifications follow Tr. 5101.

Mr. Gundersen7 while not admitted into evidence, was bound into the March 23, 1977 transcript volume which contains the testimony of Dr. Richard J. Timm and the rebuttal to the Timm testimony.

By letter dated April 8,1977, the NRC Staff (Staff) informed the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (Board) and the parties that Mr. Gundersen was updating his testimony.

In the present testimony before the Board, Mr. Gundersen relied on the April 1976 Report to the Federal Power Commission pursuant to y " Testimony of Walter J. Gundersen."

Docket R-362, Order 383-3 by the Bulk Power members of the East Central Area Reliability (ECAR) Coordination Agreement. This report is updated on a yearly basis and the most recent version became available on April 1, 1977.

In view of the fact that Mr. Gundersen in his present testimony before the Board relied explicitly on the ECAR data and as this data has changed, in the Staff's view, an update of the Gundersen testimony is in order.

Attached to this Motion is the " Supplemental Testimony of Walter J. Gundersen" and the Staff moves that this testimony be accepted by the Board for filing in this proceeding.

Also attached to this Motion is the " Affidavit of Walter J. Gundersen" and the Staff further moves that, absent objection from the Board or the other parties to this proceeding, the Gundersen testimony be admitted into evidence in this proceeding.

Respectfully submitte,

' d4 2/.a Richard K. Hoefling Counsel for NRC Staf Dated at Bethesda, Maryland this 26th day of April,1977.
