Dear Mr. Wagner:

This is in reply to your letter dated June 13, 1980, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of documents relating to Florida Power Corporation's Nuclear Plant at Crystal River, Florida, and containing as much detailed information as we have concerning:

(1) The material actually used in the clothing used in the reactor room, and the material used in the face masks ~and particularly those portions that are pressed against the skin around tne face; (2) The required or recommended cleaning procedures for reuse of the clothing and masks; and (3)

Information concerning the nature of the chemicals or other cleansing products which are used in the washing procedure.

In response to your request, we have identified the documents listed in Appendix A as being subject to the general subject of your request.

A copy of each document is enclosed, and they have been marked with arrows to indicate portions which deal with topics which are of direct interest to you. Note particularly Regulatory Guide 8.15 Section C.4.d (Document

? of Appendix A), and NUREG-b041, Section 9.7 (Document 3 of Appendix A).

Please note also that documents containing specific information relative to tha Crystal River Nuclear Power Plant, Docket No. 50-302, are on file for public inspection and copying in the NRC's local Public Document Room located at the Crystal River Public Library, 668 N.W.
