Mr. Roger Strelov has referred to me your letter of August 6,1970, I
requesting comments on the environmental impact of the future operation of the Midland Plant Units 1 and 2.
We are pleased to provide the enclosed report by our Bureau of Radiological, !!calth which uas prepared in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administra-tion.
This report presents our Department's position on the proposed operation of the plant based on an evaluation of the public health and environmental aspects of the facility.
