This amend ent to the PSAR is in response to I.T S A Varga's letter to I!r S H Howell dated November 9,1976 requesting an amendment to the PSAR on the subject of Quality Assurance. The Quality Assurance Program described in this PSAR revision was found acceptable for the design and construction phase of the Midland Plant, Units 1 and 2 by the iluelear Regulatory Co==ission, Light Water Reactors Branch 4, Division of Project Innagement as documented in a letter from Mr S A Varga to !.Y S E Howell dated August 12, 1977 Copies of Amendment No 36 have also been sent to lh Jeroce !&slovski, Assistant Attorney General of the State of Michigan; l'r Daniel Ranck, Chairran of the County Board of Co==issioners of Midland County, Fichigan; Mr Robert 3 Chatterton, Supervisor of Indland Township, Midland County, Michigan; and Mr Robert Goodenough, !&yor of the City of Midland. A certificate of service on Mr Ranck and Mr Chatterton is also enclosed.
