UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION DOCKET NOS. 50-302 & 50-303 FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PERMITS AND FACILITY LICENSES Floride Power Corporation,101 Fif th Street South, P. O. Box 14042, St. Petersburg, Florida 33733, has filed an application, dated August 9,1967, pursuant to Section 104(b) of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, for authorization to construct and operate two pressurized water nuclear power reactors at its site on the Gulf of Mexico, 70 miles north of Tampa, Florida, and 7-1/2 miles northwest of Crystal River, Citrus County, Florida.
The proposed nuclear power plants, designated by the applicant as the Crystal River Units 3 & 4 Nuclear Generating Plant, are each designed for initial operation at approximately 2452 megawatts thermal with a gross electrical output of approximately 855 megawatts.
A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Commission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N. W., Washington, D. C.
