BEFORE THE UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION AMENDMENT No. 34 TO APPLICATION BY FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION FOR A SECTION 104b CONSTRUCTION PERMIT AND LICENSE FOR A UTILIZATION FACILITY DOCKET No. 50-302 Florida Power Corporation, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, Applicant for an operating license and construction permit for Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant, hereby amends its Application by the filing of Amendment No. 34.

Amendment No. 34 consists of revised pages to the Final Safety Analysis Report which reflect the changes to Section 2.3 Meteorology and Section 14.0 Safety Analysis that resulted from the new meteorological data that was collected during the period from January 1,1972 to December 31, 1972; and to Section 2.4.2 Flood. Studies and Hurricane Effects in response to the Request for Additional Information made by the Division of Reactor Licensing in the letter dated October 12, 1973.

This amendment to the Application contnins no restricted data or other defense information. _
