On July 21, 1978, the Securities and Exchange Commission rendered its decision in In the Matter of American Electric Power Company, Inc., approving in principle AEP's p:, posed stock acquisition of Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company.
In view of the fact that this decision is not yet officially reported, and may have a bearing on the Appeal Board's consideration of certain of the antitrust issues now before it in the above,;roceeding, we would ask leave to file copies of the SEC opinion with the Board members.
