I am enclosing a letter which I recently received from Mr. Bill Block of Chesterland, Ohio, concerning the safety of privately-owned nuclear power plants, such as the one now under construction in Sandusky, Ohio.

Both Mr. Block and I share a cc:: son concern in this area, as plans nave recently been announced for construction of another nuclear power plant in Perry, Ohio, which is located in my Congressional District.

I would, therefore, appreciate your co:::ments on the relative safety of such plants and any other aspects of nuclear power which you feel will be of interest.
