This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. 011er of this office on February 23 - 24, 1972, at the Dresser Industries plant, located in Alexandria, Louisiana, of activities related to construction of the Davis-Besse facility authorized by AIC Construction Permit No.
CFPR-80 and to the discussion of our findings at the conclusion of the inspection with Messrs. Richardson and Brown of the Dresser Industries staff.
The area awa=4nad during the inspection was the canufacture of main steam safety valves. Within this area, the inspection consisted of selective===fantion of procedures and representative records, interviews with plant personnel, and observations by the inspector.
No.tems of noncompliance with AEC requirements were identified i
within the areas aw-ined during this inspection.
