As a result of our review of the Industrial Security Plan for the Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1, we are submitting the following NRC staf f positions and requests for additional information. The positions are listed in Enclosure 1.
We request that you state your intent regarding compliance with each of these positions and amend your Industrial Security Plan accordingly.
We have requested in Enclosure 2 additional information needed to clarify and amplify previously submitted information.
In order to maintain our licensing review schedule for those matters dealt with in the enclosures, we will need adequate responses by April 11, 1375 to all staf f positions and requests for information. The responses should be provided in the fom of page changes to your Industrial Security Plan (four copies required). Identify on the submitted pages, with a marginal mark and revision nu=ber, those portions of the text which have been revised.
Please inforn us within seven days after receipt of thic letter of your confirmation of the schedule date or the date you will be able to meet.
If you can not meet our specified date or if your reply is not fully responsive to our request, it is highly likely that the overall schedule for completing the licensing review for this project will have to be extended.
If.you plan to appeal to Licensin3 canagement on any of the positions listed in Enclosure 1, please advise us of your intentions within two weeks.
