Dear Mr. Roe:
In our telephone conversation on June 25, 1975, I indicated to you that a discropancy exists in cable qualification information as preser.ted in Sections 3.0 and 7.0 of the FSAR for Davis-Besse. Unit 1.
We request that you clarify this discrepancy and amend the FSAR by providing the additional information as requested below.
Sections 3.11.2.1.5 and 3.11.2.2.1 states that cable samples were air-oven 0
aged at 121 C for 168 hours0.00194 days <br />0.0467 hours <br />2.777778e-4 weeks <br />6.3924e-5 months <br /> prior to testing the cable under LCCA condition.
Since the LOCA conditions inside and outside the pri=ary containmont are different (as shown in Table 7-4), we. will require that the design conditions for the cable tests be identified, and the test criteria (i.e., basis for passing or failing) be provided.
In addition, you are requested to provide a summary of the results for the cable qualification tests.
Please advise us within seven days after receipt of this i.etter of your schedule for providing the infor=ation requested.
