This letter is in response to your October 4,1974 correspondence which transmitted requests for additional information ad Regulatory positions regarding Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 Final Safety Analysis Report.
We foresee no difficulty in meeting your December 6,1974 response date.
With regard to the Regulatory position statements, as we discussed with your staff on October 1,1974, we plan to respond to the following position statements with ai'.ernate positions:

Should an impass arise regarding our respective positions, any of these four positions could become the subject of an appeal to Licensing Alanagement.
