NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF A FACILI1Y OPERATING LICENSE Notice is hereby giver that the Atomic Energy Comntission (the Comission) has issued Facility Operating License No. DPR-55 to Duke Power Company l
authorizing operation of the Oconce Nuclear Station, Unit 3 at steady state reactor core power levels not in excess of 2568 megaatts thenna1, in accordance with the provisions of the license and the Technical Specifications.
The Oconee Nuc1 car Station, Unit 3 is a pressurized water nuclear reactor located at the licensce's site in Oconee County, South Carolina.
The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comntission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license. The application for the license complies with the standards and requirements of the Act and the Comission's niles and regulations.
The license is effective as of its date of issuance and shall expire on November 6, 2007.
