Dear Mr. Moseley:
Reportable Occurrence Report RO-269/76-9, which was submitted by our letter of June 23, 1976, described an incident in which Keowee Hydro Station Unit 2 was inadvertently separated from the underground and overhead transmission lines. A supplemental response to this report, submitted by our letter of August 16, 1976, stated that additional corrective action involving the electrical termination of control wiring would be completed by September 13, 1976.
This corrective action is being performed, but due to problems encountered with material procurement and qualification, and due to an unanticipated large number of =anhours required, this work is now scheduled to be completed no later than October 15, 1976.
