Dear Mr. Price:
We have reviewed the envircreental statement prepared by the Duxe Power Ccmpany as requested by your letter of July 22, 1970.
In addition, we have reviewed the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report for the Ocence Staticn for the purpose of evaluating potential accident impact on the envircnment.
The following ecmment en the environmental statement is provided:
Insufficient informatice is presented within the statement to pcmit evaluatien of environmental. impact. Estimated radioactive releases and expccures during nemal operations and accident ccnditicns should be presented and related to the AEC limits of 10 CFR 20 and 10 CFR 100.
It is noted, however, that this informaticn is derivable frcm the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report.
Based upon the content of the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report, it is concluded chat if conditions are met for approval by the AEC of pending application for the necessary permits and licenses to construct and operate the prcposed Ocenee Statien, there is reascnable assurance that the environment will not be adversely affected.
